The graduate school entrance examination will be conducted online.
Applicants are required to prepare a personal computer, a stable internet connection, a camera, and a microphone, and to take the examination in a quiet environment. Please make the necessary arrangements in advance. For further details, please refer to the application guidelines for each examination.

English Score Reports
For entrance examinations for all majors in the master’s and doctor's programs, only score reports taken at a test center within two years prior to the application deadline, are valid. (Online and IP tests are not acceptable.)
※ Acceptable test scores include TOEIC® L&R, TOEIC® S&W, TOEFL® iBT, IELTS Academic, and GTEC (for working adults and university students / 4 skills).
※ If you are a regular SIT student, please refer to the application guideline.
Certificate of Degree (or Expected Degree) from a Chinese Higher Education Institution
In addition to submitting application documents via the Online Application System (TAO), applicants who have earned or expect to earn a degree from a Chinese institution of higher education are required to complete the following procedures to request issuance of verification reports.
(1) How to apply
①Access the CHSI website [https://www.chsi.com.cn/en/pvr/index.jsp]
②Please complete the procedures so that the electronic copy will be sent directly to the Shibaura Institute of Technology Graduate School Section (daigakuin@ow.shibaura-it.ac.jp) by e-mail within the acceptance period of the online application system (TAO).

Refund of Admission Application Fee
| The application fee is non-refundable once it has been paid. However, if any of the eligible reasons apply, the application fee may be refunded upon request. If you wish to apply for a refund, please submit your request from Exam Withdrawal Form for graduate school?Withdrawal Requestby the deadline. (1)If the applicant has paid the application fee but has not submitted the application document. (2)If the application fee was paid and the application documents were submitted but not being accepted. (3)If there is case of double or excessive payment of the application fee by mistake. |
