Call for Participation in NextGen at CERAWeek 2025!
ETH Studio is offering two ETH Zurich students the exclusive opportunity to participate in external page NextGen at CERAWeek 2025 – a unique program within the renowned external page CERAWeek that bridges the gap between universities, industry, and innovation. This global forum, held in Houston, Texas, brings together the brightest minds from academia, business, and government to shape the energy future.
What is NextGen at CERAWeek?
The NextGen program is a specially curated experience focused on empowering students and universities. It offers:
- Presentations and technology showcases: Students can present their advanced research, while universities collaborate with industry partners to define and showcase innovative content.
- Networking and career advancement: Peer-level roundtables, networking events, and bilateral meetings enable direct connections between students, companies, and industry leaders.
- Agora Pods: An interactive space where students and faculty can present their ideas and explore valuable support and funding opportunities.
- Career clarity: Whether entering the industry, starting a startup, or pursuing an academic career – NextGen provides meaningful recruitment opportunities and supports students at a critical decision point in their careers.
Who participates?
NextGen connects students, universities, and industry leaders from around the globe:
- Students (particularly master’s, PhD, and MBA students) who wish to showcase their research and ideas.
- Leading scientists and entrepreneurs, including Chief Technology Officers, investors, and global entrepreneurs.
- University leaders and directors of research centers seeking to strengthen collaboration with the industry.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for two ETH Zurich students who:
- are passionate about energy, sustainability, and innovation,
- are eager to share their knowledge with a global network and gain new perspectives,
- and are ideally pursuing a Master's degree.
