Defective card

The ETH card must be treated with care. The card must not be exposed to temperatures above 50° – and, of course, it must not be perforated.

If the card is technically defective, it will be replaced free of charge by the issuing office.

Loss of card

In the event of loss or theft, you must apply for a replacement card immediately either at the issuing office or via the Academic Services Webshop.

Fee for the replacement card

A replacement card will be issued on payment of the handling fee of CHF 25.00. A replaced card is no longer active, and if it is found again it should be destroyed immediately.
